Principle Propagation SAML: Single Stack using SOAP adapter

Hi Folks,

Scenario 3rd party non SAP -> SAP PI -> SAP ECC

Que: Does the single stack now support Principle Propagation using SAML?

The posts I have read so far conclude that SAML is only supported on the dual stack, not the single stack when using a sender SOAP Adapter in SAP PI.

SAP Help gives steps for dual stack: Configuring Principal Propagation (SAML) - SAP Help Portal

This post from 2013 concludes no support for SAML in the single stack: PI 7.31 AEX - Principal Propagation

My time would better spent looking for an alternative solution for Principal Propagation rather than chasing something which is not supported (SAML on single stack, third party consumer non SAP, sender SOAP adapter).

Any help appreciated.

Hi Che,

We are also having similar requirement on PI 7.31 Single Stack for Principal Propagation.

3rd party --> PI --> SRM (SOAP to Proxy Scenario)

Were you able to configure and test it successfully?

Appreciate if you can share any docs / working links.

Not configured or tested as yet. On this occasion the forums were not able to provide a definitive answer.

If we do get something working I will update this thread. If you could do the same.
