Encryption and Decryption of a message

Hi Experts,

I was assigned an interface where data comes in an encrypted format. PI has to do the decryption ---> Mapping and again encrypt the file and have to send it to the receiver.

So in this case, from PI point of view, how do we decrypt/encrypt the file using java mapping. What are the requirments do we need from Source and target systems.

And also can anyone tell me how does the encryption and decryption works in SAP PI...
