No Prints are coming out from SAP LP/LPR

We have successfully migrated SAP ECC  system from HP UNIX to AIX

and right now, SAP ECC is running with 5 application servers.

We have about more than 2500 printers are connected to SAP ECC DEP

system and unable to print.

We have checked in SAPsystem, the spool requests are generating but not printing from AIX unix to printer.

Multiple times, we have deleted and recreated the printer at AIX OS

level (via Smitty) . But we are unsucessfull.

Please help me on this ASAP.

Thanks

Hi Aarya,

1) Please share error logs.

2) Please share print queue status lpstat -t

3)  Restart the queue daemon using the steps below

# lssrc -a | grep qdaemon

# stopsrc -s qdaemon

# startsrc -s qdaemon

# lssrc -a | grep qdaemon

Hope this helps.

Hi Arya,

Please check /etc/hosts entries are maintained for all the printer devices.

You may compare HPUX vs AIC hosts files

Hope this helps.
