Persistence layer of HANA services .

Hi All,

Greetings to all.

I have been working  with HANA from quite some time, But i am still confused about Data and Log area of HANA Services individually .

What will data area of following service contains :

1. Index Server : User data and Catalog data .

2. stat server    : Statistics .

Likewise  XSengine have in Data area  is it Repo of apps deployed ?

In logbackups , i see the logs from XS engine , what does it really consist of ?

you can find out the data and log files in HANA studio and if you drill down you will get the locations of them.
