XML error in SUM when upgrading SP10

Hi ,

We are currently upgrading to SP10 of our Solution Manager 7.1 using SUM but we are encountering an error. When we are on the part upload the xml stack file, we are getting an error that says:

"Cannot construct a support package stack from file F:\usr\sap\SUM\stack SP10_new.xml. Stack definition file F:\usr\sap\SUM\stack SP10_new.xml contains no applicable stacks."

We calculated the stack using MOPZ in Solution Manager.

Please help us on this as we cannot proceed on out upgrade.

Please see attached screenshot.

Thank you!

Regards,

AJ

problem seems to be with xml file only , try to generate new one .

Before generating the xml , check software components and product component version in LMDB .

check software component versions in LMDB and SLD

Hi,

What is exactly the name of the stack file? Why don't you try to put something simple as stack.xml?

Hi  Joyce,

Stack has not been calculated properly.

Click on the process overview link where you will able to see the error.

Regenerate the stack and then continue with the upgarde.

Also attached the stack.xml file

Ashutosh is right, try running verification in LMDB beforehand. Is the data (e. g. support packages) displayed in SLD / LMDB / SMSY correct?
