hi ,

What is the purpose of TCODE OVK3 and why we are giving 0 and 1 in Tax class in that transaction .

also i have want to know whether surcharge includes "tax".

T.code OVK3 is to change customers tax classification

Tax class specifies the tax liability of the customer, based on the tax structure of the customer's country.

You can use the tax classification to specify, for example, whether a customer is liable for sales taxes, such as VAT or state sales taxes.

Surcharge is tax on tax.What ever the name be it called it is paid to the Authorities

Hi,

here we maintain the various tax codes as either tax relevant, exempt or any classification we would like to maintain.

sur charge is also a form of tax.
