Dear experts,
I come once again asking for some support regarding an issue I have encountered during my trials with SolMan.
I am attempting to connect a satellite system to synchronize its data with the Solution Manager's SLD (7.1 SP11)
I have created a "Test" RFC to try the connection from the satellite server to our Solution Manager and it works fine:
However, the first odd thing that happens is that if I try to do a "Remote Connection" test, nothing happens, and I see this on the SolMan's SM21:
This might be important for a later time... for the Managed System Configuration... but anyway, the most important thing at the moment, is that when I try to send the data to SolMan's SLD via RZ70 with the same SAPRouter string...I get this error at SLD_UC RFC:
The error says: "Invalid length (verify parameters)"
I checked this wiki: http://wiki.scn.sap.com/wiki/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=250514842
but the information didn't help me solve the issue, everything is OK at SAPRouter level, SolMan level, and Satellite System level.
Any ideas as to why this might be happening?
Thank you,
Best regards
Hi Pablo,
ave you done RFC authorization test?
Check the following note:
1727745 - RFC connection error while executing transaction RZ70
1602768 - Update of RFC to/from a CUA system can lock user
http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw73/helpdata/en/48/b6847d96655295e10000000a42189b/content.htm
you should go to IPQ
http://<host>:<port>/nwa
and go to
configuration -> security -> destination to maintain SLD. Please check this.
Thanks
Vikram

Dear,
Apologies for slow reply. I managed to resolve the issue. Basically, I ended configuring the string to go by port 3300 and it worked flawlessly.
Like this string in "Host Gateway": /H/<saprouter public IP>/S/sapdp99/H/<solman host>/S/3300
TCP Service as sapgw00
Now the test works fine and SLD works fine as well
Best regards,
Pablo
