Problems with Webdynpro on Blackberry 8700g/NW 2004s

Hello,

we are developing a webdynpro application for desktop and mobile blackberry clients.

To test the blackberry browser capabilities we created a litte test application

with an embedded view (Name: BlackberryView)- which works fine.

As soon as we put a table on the view we get the following error message:

wml not well-formed or valid

Line:1

Column:1259

Attribute value "BlackberryView" of type ID must be unique within the document

Can anybody help?

Hello Stefanie,

thank you for your post - this error is the same we are receiving.

I know that switching to IE emulation on the Blackberry solves this particular

problem - but then application navigation with the blackberry scroll weel does not work properly.

I need the blackberry browser in blackberry mode.

After Rebooting the SAP Systems the problems

disappeared.

Nobody knows why - but now it works!

Check the SAP note 903562 - "WML Validation Error on RIM BlackBerry with MDS 4.0 & above".

Hello Martin,

thanks for the tip - I have read the note, but it seems that we have an other

problem -> after adding a simple table-> unique id error.

Without the table - just displaying simple view header text - it works.

i also have same problem , but now its resolved by changing the blackberry IE setting.
