Unable to convert SNP planned order to PP/DS planned order in RRP3

Hi,

This is an in-house production scenario. SNP planned order are created based on forecast, now i want to convert those SNP planned orders to PP/DS planned orders in product view. While converting i am getting the following error message.

Conversion canceled with error

Message no. /SAPAPO/RRP707

I have checked the SNP, PP/DS PDS, it looks good.

Hi LV,

This usually happens if the material has a make-to-order scenario (Planning without final assembly). What is your planning strategy?

Or due to missing/valid sources of supply in PPDS. Are you able to create manual PPDS order?

Is this problem with one material or all?

Hi Brahmankar,

Thanks for your update.

Planning strategy is Make To Stock 40. This problem with header materiel, i have 5 levels of products below. Source of supply is correct for all materials.

1. I am able to create PPDS order trough product view.

2. SNP Planned orders created correctly trough SNP palnning book, then change the source of supply manually in product view that time system able to consider PPDS source of supply.

In Recipe phase relationships maintained and i can see those relationship activities in SNP, PP/DS PDS. Is this relationships caused the error?

Hi Lingaiah,

When orders are read from the livecache and an error occurs there e.g. an

unknown pegging area due to inconsistencies. Check the OM17 consistency check.

Delete old SNP orders and create new orders and try to convert it.

Also check the Global parameter setting for conversion in SPRO--Advanced Planning and Optimization--Supply Chain Planning--Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling (PP/DS)--Global Settings--Maintain Global Parameters and Defaults

Heuristic Conversion SNP->PP/DS and Conversion Rule.

Hi Brahmankar,

I have executed the consistency check in OM17. I created new order and try to convert, but same error is coming.

Conversion SNP -> PP/DS - SAP002

Conversion Rule -   SAP001

Hi Lingaiah,

Conversion SNP -> PP/DS SAP002 is scheduling heuristic

Heuristic for Conversion SNP->PP/DS  as SAP_SNP_SNGL used for order conversion.

Your correct. I have mentioned above Schedule orders : Strategy profiles. Create or change orders seems maintained correctly.

The above issue resolved. Rounding profile incorrectly transferred to APO trough CIF.
