Mixed storage unit issue.

Hi Friends,

If I am creating TR for mixed storage unit in full through LB01  & converting it into Transfer order through LT04 then I am facing issue that New storage unit number is created for every material.

This should not happen as I am not transferring partly storage unit to other storage type.

If I am using storage unit that is not having mix material then system is working fine i.e. If Storage unit is moved partly then it is creating new SU no. for partly transferred qty. If full Storae unit no. is moved then it is not creating new SU number.

Hi Kiran,

unfortunately there is no possibility to fix that, since a storage unit can only contain one quant, e.g. one material, one batch, on GR date, one storage location, one storage type, one storage bin etc.

You cannot achieve what you want by using storage unit management, not even HU management since you want the same HU to be in different storage bins at the same time.

You will need to take a different approach in your process to map it in SAP WM.
