Hi SAP Gurus,

We have one SAP ABAP development system CBD.

We have to migrating all the customizing data from CBD to DEV.

DEV system is our old system and we have to migrate back to this system.

DEV system is very small as compared to CPD system.

CPD                                                       DEV

SAPDATA directories                            only one SAPDATA directory

are from 1 to 9                                       172 GB

150 GB each(total 1350)

/oraarach ->49 GB                                 /oraarch ->

/usr/sap ->15G                                      /usr/sap->30 GB

/usr/sap/trans->20 GB                           /usr/sap/trans->20 GB

/SAPMNT->10 GB                                /sapmnt ->9.8 G

As we are only moving customizing data, transactional data is not inlcuded.

Could you please let me know , what all dependency is there in this data migration.

Thanks,

Avadhesh

Hello

You should run report RSCLICHK selecting profile SAP_CUST in order to make sure that there are no DDIC inconsistencies between these two systems.

As Deepak stated a copy should only performed among systems that has the same basis version.

Regards

1398718 - CC:INFO-Client copy between different EHP'S

Both the source and target system should be of the SAME EHP'S for a client copy between them.

Also, the source and target system should be in the same SUPPORT PACKAGE for a client copy between them.

For more information on the other pre-requesites please refer the related notes.

Hi Avadesh,

Are CBD and DEV both have same SAP release and path level ?

If yes, then you can use client copy using profile SAP_CUST. This will copy customizing data from CBD to DEV.

If no, then please share details of SAP release and oracle database release

Hope this helps.
