Gurus,

I am trying to activate QM view thru  QA08.I have given the list of materials & selected

Mass processing

Then options

Activate despite inspection stock,Do not display material list & Create change documents & then executed transaction it goes into the QM view of material master  & get a message in green,

Maintain the parameters to be setup for inspection type.I have selected the required check boxes when i press enter i get a msg

No entries found what is the issue?

you can  extend QM view through MM50 for list of Materials then use QM08 to update Inspection type for the Materials.

This is a work around then what is the purpose of QA08 then?

Once QM view extended for all Materials,there is requirment for adding/removing Inspection type for Materials which QM08 is required.....mostly in Implementation and rollout phase

You mean to say that QM view to be activated before using QA08?

Yes, You have to activate QM view for material master before using QA08.

Hello Murugan,

Quality view maintains at the time of material creation, select the quality management view in basic data. For existing material quality view maintains through material extend (T-code:  MM50).

T-code:QA08, use for activate and deactivate of Quality inspection type for mass material.
