Installation error on sybase + windows server 2012

Hello there,

I am installing ERP EHP7 on sybase+windows server 2012, the installation hangs on phase : prepare database server creation

sapinst.log shows:

INFO[E] 2014-04-17 22:11:10.473

FSL-01027  Account user="Administrators" does not exist.

actually I am install the system on local server without any domain environment, I use user administrator for installation, it belongs to group Administrators, the work group name is by default -  WORKGROUP, didn't change anything.

As I can see in the setup phase, there are only three choice:

Local domain

Domain of current user

Other domain

There is no choice like "local installation" as before, does it mean SAP doesn't support local installations anymore? on windows server 2012?

Thank you.

Fresh

Hi

Its not a problem to install the local domain,

1. Just check the SIDADM & SAPServiceSID user id's as part of local administrator group?

2. check the 2012 Firewall & UAC disabled

Hi Sriram,

sidadm and sapservice sid are sure in the administrators group

I have closed the 2012 firewall and disable the UAC, still doesn't work..

Hi Fresh,

Please try the following. Give full permission to everyone to below folder

<Drive >:\Sybase\<SID>

Check the results.

Hope this helps.

Hi,

yes, before I post this message I already search for the scn, absolutely the same issue as of mine, but that didn't work for me, I add "Everyone" with full control to folder D:\sybase\DEV, still the same problem...

Thanks for all your answers, the problem finally approve to be a bug of SAP SWPM, we could not use SWPM10SP05, instead we should use SWPM10SP04
