Approvals & Tasks, Approval Report

Former Member

Hi,

I am getting this error at often times and not for every day.

When i go to Approvals & Tasks Tab and select one item to approve, i am getting below error message.

"This item is no longer valid. Select another item or refresh the item list view. Item is missing from the UML persistent cache "

Is there any thing i have to do correct this error which appears offten times?

One more question:

How can i find the list of SCs or PO approved by myself as a report in SRM?

Thanks,

Macs

Hi

Are you using Portal ?

I have observed this when you process a task/work item. The status of the process or work item is not updated in this screen immediately. So, even processed messages are in the list.

If you forgot that you had already processed an item and try to process, you get this message. You need to refresh the item list to show correct list.

Best regards

Hi Ramki,

Yes i am using Portal.

I didnt process the item yet. But when i tried to process it, i got error.

Is there any program or function module which clears and update the items correctly. so that there wont be any problem when selecting a particular item.

Thanks,

Hi

Seems to be authorization or Meemory bottleneck issue. Ensure that Web users have all required transaction authorizations. For the time being give SAP_ALL and SAP_NEW profiles and then check it out.

I will provide you few OSS notes on this in my next reply.

The follwoing standard reports will help. Use transaction - SE38.

BBP_BW_SC1 Ordered Shopping Carts per Cost Center

BBP_BW_SC2 Shopping Cart Status

BBP_BW_SC3 Shopping Carts per Product

BBP_BW_SC4 Shopping Carts per Cost Center

Hope this will help.

Please reward suitable points, incase it suits your requirements.

Hi Atul,

Thanks for your email.

It is very difficult to set SAP_ALL and SAP_NEW for all users. there should be some other way to solve the issue.

Can you provide some oss notes if you have regarding my error.?

I tried all those reports but none of them are usefull as i am looking for a report which lists SCs or POs Approvals for a User. Lets say, If i enter User ID and date interval in the selection screen, i should get list of SCs or POs approved so far.

Thanks,

Macs

Hi

In SRM transaction - BBP_PD you can get most of the details.

I am afraid incase it does not suits your requirement, you need to go for some bespoke development.

Let me know incase you need any other details in this case.
