TP not working after kernel upgrade

Dear All,

We have recently upgraded our Development system SAP kernel from 700 to 720 patch 600 after kernel upgrade we are not able to import the transport requests into quality server.

We are able to release the transport request in development system and by copying the co file and datafile manually to quality system and using stms_import Tcode extras-->other request --> add we are able to import the request into the quality server.

we are getting below error while transferring the data files and importing the existing transferred file

ERROR: INTERNAL ERROR in usage of tp_search_buffer_entry:

TOOLS: Highest return code of single steps was: 16

ERRORS: Highest tp internal error was: 0800

tp finished with return code: 800

Kindly suggest the necessary steps to be done to resolve the error.

Check the trace file dev_tp in the work directory.

Secondly check this SAP note 1449610 - tp terminates in function 'tp_search_buffer_entry' and see if the tp version used is affected.

Try updating tp and R3trans

It is solved by updating tp executables in quality server.

Lalitha,

Download the latest tp and R3trans programs from Service Market Place. Take a backup of old tp, R3trans programs/.exe files. After taking the backup please replace the old tp, R3trans files in /usr/sap/SID/sys/exe with newly downloaded tp, R3trans. This should resolve your issue. Thanks.

Please update the TMS configuration and distributed it once again.
