Hi,

But you can get sapnote or config document for MSSQL server too, have you checked the sap note 1458291 - SolMan 7.1 Database Warehouse & Alerting for MSSQL , step IV.   Setting up the Database Connection

Thanks

Hi,

you can try manually instead of wizard, Please follow the guide Sap Solman Instguide Dba Cockpit Setup

For wizard also, you need to change the tnsnames.ora as described,

refer the notes 1744830 - How to reset DBACockpit settings in order to rerun the Solution Manager Wizard

1261329 - DBA Cockpit: Oracle as a remote database

Thanks

Hi Veer,

Goto SE38 and run ADBC_TEST_CONNECTION , select your managed system database connection name and paste the results.

Hi Veera,

Goto SE16, input DBCON in the table name field, and lookout for the entry AA1, if you dont have the entry please create a entry for AA1,

Database connection name, DBS (db type) and username, password. Last connection information.

make sure you have entered correct password for user AA1_SAPMonitor. After creating the connection, try again in managed system setup and ADBC_TEST_CONNECTION and share us the results.

Hi,

You can create new entry in Tr. DBCO and add all required fields and save.

Then test the connection in SE38 as mentioned by karthik.

Hi,

Error shows login failed for the user maintained in connection details.

Please check and maintain correct login details and also check that user is able to login to  target databse and has all required authorizations.
