Note 546668 has detailed information regarding delivery splits during delivery creation. I think it will be of interest to you. Bear in mind that delivery splits are also possible after the delivery has been created. Transaction VLSP is available for this purpose.

Hi

You can have several deliveries for a sales order by creating by creating part deliveries, in other words by not referencing the total sales order quantity in the delivery at once. The other criteria has already beeb mentioned.

Delivery split can occur when the following are different:

1. ship-to-party

2. shpping point

3. route

4. incoterms

5. transportation zone

etc

you can have your won criteria for splitting thr copy controls

Hi raju,

delivery split happens based on not only on different shipping points,but it depends on your business logic which supports thru order to delivery copy controll.

at item category level.if you do not have different shipping points for multiple line items ,but if you have for example business logic of say "any line items with 10 tons and above gross weight' can be split into multiple delievries.
