Problema installing 10.1

Good afternoon:

I'm trying to install the K-V11AGINGRCFNDA.SAR component (transaction SAINT) on a test machine SAP_BASIS 740,005.

But I see no phase progresses MAIN IMPORT.

In SM50 I see that I begin to launch processes SAPLSPOA, RSDSSPTI, SAPMSSY2 .... but never finished.

Can you think why never ends?

Firstly thank you very much for the replies.

I've been watching the log (ST11) and I see that looks like a memory problem, as I see the following lines:

*** ERROR => ThAllocShortMem: maxSize exceeded (act/size 3199968/244 > max 3200000) [thxxmem.c    1965]

{root-id=000C29E2BEA91EE3B1C966F67CECB36D}_{conn-id=00000000000000000000000000000000}_0

*** ERROR => ThInsCoMsg: no memory to save message of type REQ_HANDLER_ADM [thRequest.c  4525]

*** ERROR => ThAllocShortMem: maxSize exceeded (act/size 3199968/244 > max 3200000) [thxxmem.c    1965]

With that parameter I can increase this memory?

  1956295 - ztta/short_area - memory shortage

Hi Carlos,

1) what is the database on which you run SAP system ?

2) How much RAM is configured in the server ?

3) Check the SAP buffer utilization in ST02

1. Modified the parameter as indicated by note 1956295
2. I increased the RAM to 6Gb (I was only 4).
3.Deleting a lock on the SM12.

And I finally finished installing the addon.

Please share SLOG & ALOG from dir /usr/sap/trans/tmp and also recheck system for space concern

Hi Carlos,

Please check  you have sufficient space in database, log directory or file system.

Also share logs from /usr/sap/trans/tmp

There should be no problem... at least I was able to import that addon on the same NW version one week ago. What is your DB ?

Please check system log &  tp logs
