MESYS user password reset in sap netweaver

Hi Experts,

I am runnning SAPMEINT CTC wizard. Unfotunately I forgot MESYS user password. Now if I reset the MESYS user password what would be the consequences. I mean what other configuration, I have to change.

Hi,

If you do not know the current password of MESYS and you are now re-executing SAPMEINT CTC, then I would expect the new password that you specify during the current round of CTC to be populated to all needed places in UME, MII and ME. So you do not need to update manually anything.

But this concerns only the standard SAPMEINT project. If you have any customizations which use MESYS, this requires a separate consideration.

Hello Eshwar,

You need to reset the password in the SAP MII credential store as well under security services for SAPMEINT_ME_AUTH credential. Otherwise all the scheduled jobs will fail.
