Hello together,
we've updated our Java Kernel (SAP Kernel UC LINUX_X86_64) from 7.41 SP 11.0 to 7.41 SP 26.
Problem is, that the Systeminfo shows another version 7.40 . 3301 (see pic.)We've also restarted the SCS and Java instance.
So, what could be the problem? Where can I find the right version?
Best regards,
Mathias Schneider
Hi Mathias,
did the sapcpe run?
Take a look at /usr/sap/<SID>/<J-Instance>/exe.
Is it the same kernel as in /sapmnt/<SID>/exe ?
Do the same for SCS.
Best regards

Hi Mathias,
This is expected behaviour. The system info in NWA will only display the Java or Native kernel information.
This scenario is described in the following notes.
1748067 - The SystemInfo page is not showing the 7.20 Kernel.
1747912 - After applying Kernal 7.20 the System Information page on the Java Netweaver Stack still shows the old Kernel version
The right kernal version will always be shown via the following command:
sapcontrol -nr <instance number> -function GetVersionInfo
This is what you should use to get the kernel information.
Regards,
David
