Secure Connection option in MDM adapter in SAP PI 7.4

Hi,

We have an option for selecting secure connection in MDM sender and receiver adapter in SAP PI 7.4.

Can someone tell me what roles are required for the  repository user in MDM system for this secure connection? Also, does it require any certificates to be installed in SAP PI system.

hi,

we are also using SAP PI 7.4 dual stack system. there is no any certificates required in SAP PI.

go through this thread ..which is very useful for doing integration with SAP MDM.

the link you provided is something related to file name and import map issue. aman is looking for secure connection.

i am wondering how come no certificates are required for secure connection?

could you please elaborate how you have achieved secure connection without using certificates.
