hello all,
after installing SAP Solution manager i try to configure with transaction solman_setup but after entering the logon data my webdynpro does not work and i have this shortdump
Since exceptions represent error situations and this error was not
adequately responded to, the running ABAP program
The exception 'CX_FQDN' was raised, but it was not caught anywhere along
the call hierarchy.
Since exceptions represent error situations and this error was not
adequately responded to, the running ABAP program
'CX_FQDN=======================CP' has to be
terminated.
well i know this is a very known Dump, but my problem is, i don't have a Domain controller, how can i setup a "fake" domain.
Thanks
So i set
SAPGLOBALHOST TOINOV-SOLMAN
icm/host_name_full toinov-solman.sap.com
SAPLOCALHOSTFULL toinov-solman.sap.com
LOCALHOSTFULL toinov-solman.sap.com
and in my hosts files i insert
192.168.1.110 | toinov-solman.sap.com | toinov-solman |
But it still doesn't work...
what i'm doing wrong?

Hello Benjamin,
yes i restarted the system, i realize tht my dns does not respond to who is 192.168.1.110 i talk with my network adminstrator to insert that.
i try to access via http://toinov-solman:8000/index.html and it gives the netweaver aplicaton java server
...
when i enter solman_setup it gives me http://toinov-solman.mydomain.ext:8000/sap/bc/webdynpro/sap/wd_sise_main_app?sap-language=EN
but if ti only enter http://toinov-solman:8000/sap/bc/webdynpro/sap/wd_sise_main_app?sap-language=EN
i have access to netweaver aplicaton java server...
in my hosts file toinov-solman.mydomain.ext it's identified as 192.168.1.110 so i think the problem it´s on dns server?!?!?!
Hi Oscar,
You need to maintain the parameter icm/host_name_full parameter.
Also follow the below sapnotes as well
1403326 - Exception CX_FQDN when starting WD ABAP applications

Hi Oscar,
You can always try to put an entry in the hosts file. In UNIX this is typically in /etc/hosts. Windows is usually C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc.
Entry will looks something like:
<host> <host.domain.com> <IP Address>
You'll also need to update / add the following profile parameters:
LOCALHOSTFULL
icm/host_name_full
