Hi Esmarc,

Go to SNOTE --> Enter CTRL+F9 and enter the note number you want to check there.

You would get the status of the note, if it is applied or not, CAN it be imnplemented or not etc etc..

Hope it helps..

Sri

Hi Esmarc,

Note is not yet Downloaded and Applied to your system.

You can proceed with its download and SNOTE --> CTRL+F8 and then see if it can be applied or not..

Hope it helps.

Hello all,

I don't totally agree with the replies above.

If the note has not been downloaded on the system DOES NOT mean that it is NOT applied!

Chances are that: the note has been applied manually Or the corrections instructions have already been applied by Support package

Please go through the link that I provided in my prior reply. I would give you an idea what I mean to say.

Oops! Provide incorrect link above

Trying to point towards -> /message/3178760#3178760 [original link is broken]

Please take note of following:

***Usually OSS notes have dependencies on prior OSS notes. Make sure you go through the pre-requisites properly.

***Check if corrections instructions from a particular note have already been implemented manually.

You will only come to know after cross-checking the program source code against the correction instructions. Such manual corrections are not recorded in SPAM or SNOTES.

***Don't be fooled by the status of OSS notes in transaction SNOTE:

Eg:.

Sometimes a user clicks of apply OSS note option and he/she runs into errors due to some reason or other.

Here in this case, if the User marks the OSS notes as 'implement anyway' or 'User confirms that note has been implemented successfully'. Then there are chances that the note has not been implemented but the user have just changed the status as implemented.

<<<Hint: to counter this problem, check the details log of the note>>>

***Some notes are marked as 'Obsolute', please check the latest version.
