Hi Gurus,
We are using CTS to transport objects. While ID objects are imported into the target system, few of them are failing with RC12 stating that activation of the objects failed as we have to maintain values in comm channels/RD/.... We are transporting objects from "nwdi_ctsadm" user to our user ids, maintaing values in the objects and manually activating. Do we have any patch/note/setting to be applied to avoid this?

Hi Aditya
Please check the following link.

There are a couple of exchange profile parameters to disable automatic activation of ID transports. You can also get more details from the following OSS notes - 1345425 & 1805662.

Hi Aditya
Well that is the best practice and that is how by default the transport mechanism works.
There is a option in PI by which you can go for auto activation but that is risky if you consider
production environment.
Because the objects will be activated without proper values and it may cause major issues.

the TR will only fail if there is a dependent object already imported that is not activated.
otherwise the process will be to import the TR, move the TR to a user profile and then manually activate it.
