ST12 Trace tcode isuee

Hi experts,

Iam facing the different issue while executing the tcode st12 in DEV& QAS Servers its not working it showing tcode doesn't exist  message getting

But in production its working fine please help what is problem we are using

sap .......................ECC6.0

Operating system..... "Windows NT"

Release.............. "5.2"

Database type..... "MSSQL"

SAP kernel....... 700

Compare versions installed in your landscape : look for ST-A/PI, if installed compare your roles and standard roles like SAP_DVM_SERVICE.

If you are Admin, then have you installed ST-A/PI only in systems where Early-Watch or similar tool/service are executed (and sent to sap) and not for development ?

check SAP note 69455 check your ST-A/PI version in your production and other systems and update it to the level of production.

Hi,

      It has happened with me as well for few transaction codes, like some work in DEV but not in QS/PROD .

      Contact your admin ( from where you received your sap username ) and ask for the developer access to DEV and QS landscapes which is same as in your  PROD landscape.

Hi,

if you are basis admin, you can check table E071 in SE16 for the following entries:

PGMID = "R3TR"

OBJECT = "TRAN"

OBJ_NAME = "ST12"

Is there any entry with OBJFUNC="D" there? This might me the transport request or package, where the tcode has been deleted or removed.

You need to check if the add-on ST-A/PI (Service Tools for Applications Plug-In), is installed, check the SAP note   69455 - Servicetools for Applications ST-A/PI (ST14, RTCCTOOL, ST12)
