Hello everyone,
We were using Business Objects 4.0 SP4 with many OLAP Connections to BPC MS 10 using XMLA Web Services and they were working perfectly.
After an update to SP9 for BO, the connections stopped working. resulting in the following error:
Failed to get connections for connection [...] using session locale [English].
No changes was made in the BPC server, only BO server. And the connection String, User and Password is exactly the same as when it was working. No changes made in BO Application.
Screen captures of the error and configuration are attached.
Could Anyone Help me?
Thanks!
Problem solved.
All the XMLA configuration was rebuilt following the note http://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1713232.
The note include a guide to configure a XMLA application in the IIS server giving the applicable permissions in the Web Directories.
Thank you all for help!!!

Hi Boris,
The trace was executed and I couldn't find any error explicitly related to the error.
We tried to edit the connection inside the Information Design Tool and the following message was shown:
com.businessobjects.mds.olap.protocol.xmla.internal.XMLAException: ErrorCode: 401
Description: Unauthorized
Source:http://<BPC_Server>/sap/bpc/app/xmla/xmlawebservice.asmx
We tried also access the conection string (http://<BPC_Server>/sap/bpc/app/xmla/xmlawebservice.asmx) through web browser with the same user and password and the access was made and page loaded succesfully.
Thanks!!!
Bruno
