List of Values in Information Design Tool

Hi,

We migrated universes from 5.1.5 to BI 4.1 Edge using interim as 3.1 Edge and converted .UNV to .UNX.

Could find 149 LOVs in .UNV  of 5.1.5 and also in 4.1 but only one is available in UNX Business Layer.

While checking the properties of objects , noted, Associate List of Values in Unchecked.

Tried an exercise of enabling 'Associate List of Values' and also 'Export with Universe' and 'Automatic Refresh before use' and then exported to repository and converted to .UNX.Now could get the LOVs in business layer now.

Could you please let me know is this the only way to do? Not sure how it will affect the space or performance since we enabled all the above said object properties.

On the other hand should we disable the associated list of values property so as to make it in sync with UNV?

Hi All,

This seem to be one of the upgrade issues and there is no other way except manually exercising.

Even though users requested to have only LOVs enabled for objects based on Accounting Month we ended up in checking and unchecking thousands of LOV Objects properties.
