SNP-PDS does not show alternate modes

Hi,

We are using PDS for planning in SNP as well as PPDS. We are using alternate resources in Master recipe using resource classification. When I CIF Recipe from ECC to APO as PPDS PDS it shows alternate modes in PDS in APO system. But same thing is not happening for SNP PDS. SNP PDS is not showing alternate modes,it only displays primary resources. I suppose alternative modes in SNP PDS should be possible as capacity leveeling has that option as to consider alternate modes. Any one has any idea why this is not working ? Do we need to implement any BADI for this ?

Hi Dharmesh,

Alternate resource is not supported by PDS. But still if you have maintained alternate resource in routing then, it will come as alternate modes in PDS but capacity will not be distributed.

You have to create multiple PDS out of alternate resource for which few enhancement need to be done in CIF.

Not possible in standard SAP.

Hi Kishor,

I have maintained alternate resources in master recipe but they are not even coming as alternate modes in SNP -PDS. I can only check next steps if they come in SNP-PDS. My problem is they do not even appear as alternate modes in SNP.

We have the same issue, Alternate modes doesn't appear in SNP PDS.  Did you managed to solve the issue?

I agree with Rupesh. Alternative resources are not supported at all in SNP.

We had the same scenario, we used the BAdi /SAPAPO/CURTO_SNP with CIF_IMPORT parameter to create multiple PDSes in case there is alternative resource in routing/recipe.

Alternative resource is not supposrted in SNP.  AsSNP PDS does not support alternate resource and sequence. I am not sure but you many check the BADi /SAPAPO/CURTO_SNP also check OSS note 357178
