Web Dispatcher for multiple system

Hi Experts,

I am installing one web dispatcher for more than 2 systems. I am following https://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw73ehp1/helpdata/en/b0/ebfa88e9164d26bdf1d21a7ef6fc25/content.htm for SAP Web Dispatcher for Multiple Systems. While setting up the profile i used icm/server_port_0 for http port and wdisp/system_0 = SID=ERP, MSHOST=ms_erp, MSPORT=8082, SRCSRV=webdisp1:8888 for message server information however getting an error that the system is not able to connect to message server. Its on windows system and I have checked the services file for the port. Any thoughts or can someone share their profile from running web dispatcher for more than one SID in it?

hello,

Please check the MSHOST parameter it must be the host where the ERP message server runs, also check MSPORT parameter it must be the http message server port normally 81XX (XX is your system number), you can check the port in transaction smms and clic on services button.

Also check you have the ERP message server host mapped in your /etc/hosts file, you can check that by doing a ping to the ERP message server host.
