SAP Notes using RSECNOTE

Hi Team,

As par of EWA recommendations, I ran RSECNOTE report in production system & got some note suggestions to be implemented.

These are:

1778949

1816331

1821019

1826162

1827217

1837030

1842406

1848996

Can these be implemented in the system without creating any impacts? Please suggest.

My system is ECC 6- Ehp 4.

We need to check all the notes and have thorough analysis whether those notes valid for required landscape or not? If yes, Please implement in Dev-> Test-> Production, with a transport, If it is passed testing in the same sequence.

The note itself will answer your question as valid release for the notes are mentioned.

The notes displayed using RSECNOTE report are security related notes. You need to check what the SAP note says and implement it (on a sandbox or development system) and put them into a transport request. If everything is fine with the first system then you release the transport and import it into the next system.

Hi Nivin,

You need to read through each of these notes and identify which note is required to be implemented.

Normally not all SAP notes will be required to be implemented .
