a sap image issue

hello experts,

Iam rahul with some problem with sap image on the right hand side column of the screen

friends, my IT head want me to change the sap image which is displayed in the right hand side clumn of the screen

I know the Tcode for this is SMW0 ,but i dont know the way it has to been done.

please help me to solve the issue, it isvery much in need hopping for the reply,and the solution

IT was giving error as i had not Create object using Z NAme for object

hi,

do this steps

Transaction code - SMW0

X - Binary data for WebRFC application

Hit Enter

Click Execute

Click Settings -> Maintain MIME types

Click the Create button

Fill in :- TYPE : image/gif EXTENSION : .GIF

Click Save

Click Back to the Binary data for WebRFC

Click Create

Fill in :- Obj. name : ZXXXX.GIF Description :

Company Logo

Click Import and specify the filename where your

GIF file is

Located. File type is BIN. Finish press the

Transfer button.

If successful, your logo will be shown in the

Binary data for

WebRFC.

Transaction code SM30

Table/View - SSM_CUST

Click Maintain

Click New Entries

Name Value to be set

START_IMAGE ZXXXX.GIF

RESIZE_IMAGE NO

Logoff and Login again

Hi ,

Am facing a similar problem like the logo is printing upside down(invert).

Please adivce asap,its an PRD issue.

If it´s "urgent" create an OSS call - and I don´t see any problem with your production system not displaying a logo correctly, people can work, can´t they?

Mirror/invert the logo with a program and upload it again.

IT is giving me error when i try to import image in transaction smw0 .IT says i cannot create for $tmp package Foriegn object s niot allowed

Hi,

Which user you are using for the same?

Does the user has authorisation for S_DEVELOP?.

When it says you cannot create the object pl run /SU53 tcode and letme know the out put.

For creating or editing objects in $tmp package one should have S_DEVELOP authorosation.

Pl check.

Change the logo in the right-hand side of the initial screen

- To put your company logo in the right-hand side of the initial

screen:

Put your picture in the database with the transaction SMW0

"Binary data" options, e.g. in ".GIF" format.

Put a record with the picture name in the key "START_IMAGE" of

the table SSM_CUST in the View maintenance transaction SM30.

- You can adjust the picture to the window size automatically or

center it in the right-hand side of the initial screen

("RESIZE_IMAGE" "YES" or "NO" in the table SSM_CUST).

- You can deactivate the picture globally so that noone sees it

with "HIDE_START_IMAGE" "YES" in the table SSM_CUST.

User-specific picture display settings are then ignored.

NB: In future if you forget this then in the initial screen go to Extra tab---->Administration Information. Here the procedure will be displayed.
