DAA patching at one times

Hi Expert,

Would like to ask is there any alternative way to install patch or upgrade DAA by solman at one times instead of uninstall and reinstall on the server itself. It is quite troublesome if we have 1000+ server and we need to uninstall and reinstall again..

There is a way that yo can do a Mass Deployment / Unattended Installation.

please check the below 2 SAP Notes might help you and clarifies your query

1486330 - Mass Deployment of Diagnostics Agent 7.30 and higher.

1833501 - Diagnostics Agent Installer versions.

Have you read AgentInstallationStrategy document from SAP Note 1365123 - Installation of Diagnostics Agents? If it does not cover your issue please clarify it.

Thanks for sharing! When I read that right, you don't have to upgrade DAAs when they are connected to SolMan?

I haven't tried it yet, but maybe note http://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/950619 is helpful. It describes how you can start sapinst with a command file.
