Transport Using File Based(SLD)

Hi ALL,

How can we transport the Business System from Dev Environment to QAS and then to PRD

using file based system.

HI,

you should create 3 BS, for DEV, QAS and PRD

then, you should point in transport tab source and target systems

for instance,for QAS systems source system will be DEV system and target system will be PRD system.

Thanks for response!.

Actually the BS in Dev is associated with Product and SWCV for Third party System.

Do i have to deploy the patches for third party in QAS, As i did in DEV system

Or does it get transport automatically along with BS???

Once you transport the technical and business systems then you have to tranpsort the product and software components ....either you can include these things in transport or can do via file based transport mechanism...

you have to transport all the things from dev to qas and prod....either manually or using transport tool

Hi

Just create three business system in SLD.

DEV,QA, and PRD

Choose the DEV business system and assign QA and PRD business system as it's target in SLD.

Then create a tpz file using file from DEV system and import the same in QA and PRD.
