SAP PO 7.4 - SAML

All,

I'm looking for some leads to set up SAML on a SAP PO 7.4 (AEX) system, in combination with a SAP ERP 6.0 EhP6 system.

Not really looking for in-depth documentation, but just to have an overview of possibilities and the necessary architecture.

Thank you for the link. It really helps.

I see that the SAML 2.0  Service Provider should be at least a NetWeaver 7.2 or 7.3.

Is there any confirmation or statement on usage on a NetWeaver 7.4? An OSS note?

Hi Dimitri,

I don't know of any OSS confirming that (and I don't think I'd be able to use the search better than you are), but since PO 7.4 is like PO 7.31 + HANA support, I strongly believe that this is valid for 7.4, too.

In my opinion. the important thing to consider here is the Identity Provider. You'll need either an IdM 7.1+ or an external one. From my experience, this is the key system and there is the main work to be done.
