OS/DB-win server 2008 / oracle 11g , no back  is running now and there is no hardware issues but we didn't do any maintenance for this week end .

thanks can you please attach SM50 or SM66 screen shot and check the DB stats for the tables in DB20 mentioned in the SM50/SM66 when the last stats were ran. Also check at OS level is there any disk issue or I/O issue?

Is the issue is with the overall system performance then check the memory consumption of the system at the OS level. If the background jobs are getting delayed then there should be insufficient background work processes. You need to find out where the problem is and then work on it. Unfortunately there is nothing much we can advise you unless you supply all the elements of the issue.

You should provide all the require information to analyze the error.

- OS/DB

- was there any maintenance over the weekend?

- the slowness is only for certain transactions?

- any issue with hardware?

- Is backup running?

etc....

You need to share more details on what exactly is the performance problem and share if any error messages appear to have better response.
