Hello friends,

I am installing IDES BW 7.0 /SEM 6.0 on Windows 2012 server based on x64.

It is based on NW2004s SR2. As per note 1013702 - IDES BW 7.0 /SEM 6.0, I should use Installation Master DVD. (Also SWPM is supported from SR3 onwards.)

Now I have a problem in JDK. please let me know where/how to find correct jdk ? (I have tried with   j2sdk-1_4_2_17-windows-i586-p.exe which did not worked)

Hi ,

Have you installed JDK on to your server. please check whether its 64-bit using command

java -version.

You may download correct version from an older link

http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.4.2/SAPsite/download.html

Hope this helps.

Hi

1.  Use the JDK version 1.4.2_13 and then try the same phase

2. Have you define the windows user environment JAVA_HOME= (Java Path)

I have tried with JDK version 1.4.2_09, JDK version 1.4.2_19, JDK version 1.4.2_17.. nothing works.

And yes, JAVA_HOME is set in environmental variable.
