solution manager SMD not show in

Dear exports,

I am configuration solution manager 7.1 under oracle and AIX.

During system preparation my solution manager SMD not shown “6.2 prepare outside discovery “in list but EPR and BW SMD exists in list. All three was not show in this step then I issue following 2 command in every system like ERP BW and solman.

1.    . /smdsetup managingconf hostname:"solmandev” port:”50000” user:”smd_admin”   pwd:”mypassword”
2. ./smdsetup sldconf  hostname:"solmandev” port:”50000” user:”j2ee_admin” pwd:”mypassword”

After completed preparation phase and basic solution manager server restart then after that it was not show in smd list ( only solution manager SMD).

Please guide me.

Hi Shahid,

Please check the port you have entered in the command 1.

For Direct Solution Manager Registration, below is the correct command with port as 81XX:

smdsetup managingconf hostname:"sapms://solman.full.qual.host.name" port:"81XX" user:"SMD_ADMIN" pwd:"XXXXXXXX

my SMD agent connected with solman

I solved it

go smd administration and disconnect solman agent which was connected but not show in preparation step 6.2 and then connect again it's work thanks a lot again
