Quastion on SAP LVM 2.0 ENT

Hello LVM Gurus,

I would like to add my network details to our SAP LVM2.0 to scan the host/instance.

I am not able to find network name.

I request you to kindly let me know which network name it is looking for an how to find the netwok name.

Hi Prasad,

It is looking for hostname of the server. Please check whether DNS entry exists for the server .

Else maintain local /etc/host file to resolve.

I guess it is looking for the vertual environment network name to identify the network, I am not sure how to find and where to find.

Have you checked DNS entries for physical or virtual hostname.
