Sapinst_dir default path

Hello,

Are there any possibility to change the default path of sapinst_dir of SWPM?

It always goes to programFiles folder.

How can I change it to a different partition?

I've found the answer.

You must to execute sapinst SAPINST_CWD=e:/sapinst_instdir

I´ve defined E.V TMP, TEMP...

But I'm getting the same folder sapinst_dir on program files folder. What E.V must I define to change the path?

Hi Ruben,

Once you set the environment variable , you need to log off and login again.

Also confirm the environment settings with echo $TEMP or $TMPDIR

Yes, if it is Unix/AIX, you can give;

export TMP = /newDir or export TEMP=/newDir

if it is Windows, set TMP=Drive:\newDIR

For installation you may set the installation directory using environment variable

TMPDIR=<path of installation directory>

Refer installation guide for details.
