RFC Function Module cannot be transported to QA system from Dev

Hi,

I am trying to export one of our RFC function modules from Development and import it on QA system using CMS. The procedure is successful but when I look into QA System, it shows me old RFC and does not have the new updated one. I am exporting all the objects at Software Component Version level.

Any ideas, where I am going wrong or missing something ?

Atul,

did you import the SWCV which has RFC imported. you need to import this SWCV also.

you might imported SWCV where it is used but not where it is imported

How can I find it ? I am exporting the SWCV under which there are number of namespaces and at the end, there is 'Basis Objects/Imported Objects/RFCs'. The problematic RFC is listed at this place. It is used in one of the interfaces located in the namespaces under this SWCV.

Yes, you are right. I was exporting it from a different SWCV.

Try following:

1. Check Import history to verify if they are imported correctly

2. Try to import on object level. one by one.

3. Import RFC again from R/3

Thanks for the reply.

(1) Checked the history, it shows 'Import successful'.

(2) How do I import only RFC ? While exporting individual objects, when I select 'Function Module', the RFC is not displayed in the window.

(3) I imported RFC twice at Software Component Version level, but it has the same result.

Any other ideas ?
