Solution Manager VAR S-User Permissions

Hello all,

i need to create a S-User for My VAR Solution Manager that i will install.

can you tell what are the permissions of that user, or where can i find documentation about it?

I was talking the permissions in SAP Service MaarketPlace...

Are this ones enough??

As I said, it will depend on the scenarios you will configure.

For the installation, you will not need any. When it comes to the configuration (SOLMAN_SETUP) you'll need the authorizations in SMP for S-User.

Security Guide for SAP Solution Manager 7.1 is the documentation you need.

SAP Solution Manager 7.1 – SAP Help Portal Page

You should find the Security Guide for your Solman SP level and you can find a lot of information there.

The authorizations depend on the scenarios you will use. For Maintenance Optimizer, for example, you'll need: Order Software in Software Catalog.
