Hi,

I need to activate UPL for using semi dynamic TBOMS .

I am looking for steps to activate UPL in managed system.

Can somebody provide the steps to activate UPL.

Hi PK,

To see if the UPL extractor are correctly set, you could perform the following steps:

1. Configure the managed in which UPL data is to be collected. The 'Extractors Setup' step is especially important.

2. Activate the BW content. Activate all queries and cubes under 'SAP Solution Manager  - Custom Code Life Cycle Management'

3. Activate the UPL extractors for the managed system, in the area 'Infrastructure -> Extractor Framework' of the 'Solution Manager Administration' work center

4. The activation of UPL is described in more detail in SAP Note 1683134.
