Hello,
We need to monitor inbound idoc monitoring in ECC. Basically.
Hello,
Use the TC WE02 and select the inbound only on a desired period of time.
When the fields are filled, save it in a variant so you can use it later without filling all fields again.
If you want to focus on a particular status, write it in the field of WE02 and save it in the variant aswell.
Do not hesitate if you need more details,
Génia.

Hello Genia,
Basically for the failed inbound shipment idocs (status 51 ) we need to give the follwoing information to the business.
1) idoc number
2) original or change idoc
3) shipment number
4) The error which the idoc has thrown ( in the idoc status )
Now if 500 idocs have failed, then giving above information on a daily basis is a lot of task. How to do it quickly so that we are able to give the above four points to business
regards
Pamela
Hello,
To create a variant for your Idoc, let's say you want to monitor Idocs on last 10 days:
- "2" for the Inbound type direction in WE02
- SHPMNT for the logical message
- 51 for the status then save the variant with a dynamic date (ask if you need more details)
Once your Idocs are displayed, you can't see from this transaction if the Idocs was copied or modified before error except if you enter inside the Idocs and click on first status:
To identify the shipment number, please click on a Idoc and find the segment that got this information by double clicking on the idoc (i Haven't such Idoc to give you an example atm), for example let's say it's segment E1EDL20:
Come back on initial Idoc screen with your Idoc list and click on this button:
Indicate the segment you want to focus on:
And then you display the segment you want with the information you are looking for:
It can be used for any kind of Idoc:
With this list, you can just copy/past the info in a Excel column clos to your Idoc numbers in error.
Finally, if you need the error message for your idocs, just click on the following button:
You will recieve a error message. Sometimes it's enough, sometimes not.
Hope it helps you,
Génia.
Hello Pamela,
From what I know you can't... You have to do it in 2 steps.
1) show the error message that using the button I showed you above. Near it, the Idoc number is also displayed.
2) Identify the information from your segment and copy paste it near your Idoc number and error message.
Kind regards,
Génia.
