Problem with PI integration Tools

Hi,

We have PI 7.3 Java only stack.

I am unable to launch any PI tools.

On my system it says unable to launch application and on my colleague system it says No authorisation for this action.

Soewhere in SCn thread I read, To fix this issue I need restore the Java Web Start archives at the client and to assign a new dummy key to all archives.

But Again To do this, I need to go to

-->Administration

-> Repository/Directory (tab)

-> Java Web Start Administration

-> Restore Archives and Generate New Signature

Again Administartion Tab never works for me. It always return this error.

Can some body help me to fix this please???

Hello,

Can you check the KBA #1838098 - Administration page does not open in PI 7.31. This details the error you are receiving in the Administration page.

Hello,

This also applies for SP7, this issue has in the past been caused by dependencies between components, therefore the recommendation for within the KBA is also applicable for your release.

Also try updating the JRE. Sometime it solves the issue without updating the patch. I have done it in the past. It sounds confusing but its true.

Thanks
