How to Gain Points on SCN

Can anyone advise on How to Gain a points / glass levels on SCN.

In general you need to share knowledge (creating documents, wikis, blogs and  participate in discussions with helpful or correct answers, just asking questions does not increase your point level.

You will earn points for:

Creating Blog/Doc - 10 points

Someone likes your blog/doc/Discussion - 2 points

Someone rated your blog/doc/discussion - 1-5 points

Someone marked your reply as correct answer - 10 points

Someone marked your reply as helpful answer - 5 points

this statement is not correct, you receive 2 points for a 4-star rating and 5 points for a 5-star rating.  Any rating below 4 stars does not grand any positive points.

Hi Tejas,

when ever you will take part in any discussion, if you will give reply that will suit to the person who have raised the question, the he will put your answer as Helpful or Correct, if your answer will get a helpful marked, you will get 5 points for that, if Correct then 10 points.

So as many discussion you will get involved, if get helpful or Correct mark, your point will get increased accordingly.

There are various forums in SCN in which you can take part, and can gain many poits as your answer will reflect accuracy to the person who have raised the question.

Improve your quality in SCN.

Read the The SCN Rules of Engagement | SCN and then try to participate in various thread and post valuable blogs and documents.

If you do the above things then don't worry about the points and levels, points and levels will be automatically added to your account..

By  creating  documents  you will  get points .

Previously if  you  like also points  will  come  Now  there  is  no pint   for  like  .

That's not quite correct. You still get points for likes for your blogs, documents and discussions. Just for your comments/posts on those things you won't get points anymore.

Content rating, likes and points - nice try, needs to be thought out more

Well, you may get points for solving issues - if the person with the issue awards them to you, and he's not posted a discussion rather than a question (or a moderator hasn't edited it).

You'll only get points for blogs and documents that are of good quality. Anything that's widely covered or low quality won't get approved/ will be rejected.
