Material Transfer from ECC to APO

Hello,

we need to transfer the material/plant  from ECC to APO through CIF.

1) do we need to do some set up in APO or ECC system for the above.

2) Will the system creates products/locations in APO with the same name as material/Plant in ECC ?. If yes, do we need to do some config in ECC or APO for this ?

Hi pamela.

1)Ask  Basis team to set up RFC between source and destination.

Maintain Business System Group (BSG)  /SAPAPO/C1

Assign Logical System to BSG and Queue Type /SAPAPO/C2.

To CIF Material and plants generate and activate intgration models in CFM1 and CFM2 in ECC system.

Materials to be planned in APO, MRP type should be maintained  X0 while creating material in ECC.

while creating integration model(CFM1) for materials use MRP type as filter. All materials wiith MRP type X0 will be ciffed to APO. Before ciffing Material , location should be available in APO.

2) Names in APO will be same as in ECC if you dont do anything with CIF exits.

Hello Pamela,

In ECC -

Define Logical System    BD54

Assign Logical System to Client     SCC4

Specify SAP SCM Release   NDV2

Setup RFC Destination    SM59

Assign RFC Destination to application cases CFC7

In APO

Define Logical System    BD54

Assign Logical System to Client     SCC4

Setup RFC Destination    SM59

Assign RFC Destination to application cases CFC7

Maintain Business System Group (BSG)  /SAPAPO/C1

Assign Logical System to BSG and Queue Type /SAPAPO/C2

Above tasks are usually done by Basis Administrator during the implementation.

Once above is done,  In ECC system - 

1. create integration model using CFM1.

2. Activate integration model using CFM2.

3. Setup of Change Transfer for Master Data using CFC9

Hi,

1) For begining you need to set up RFC connections between ECC and APO and create BSG.

Next we need to create Integration Models for Plants and Materials & Plants.

2) Names are same if you do not set any customizations for Product no./Plantno..
