basis activities in APO DP and PP/DS

Experts:

I am assigned to provide SAP basis support for company's first APO DP and PP/DS implementaion.

I have done some research but found no where saying what SAP basis can do for APO DP and PP/DS project.

My background is ECC/BW/BI/PI.

Could you please tell what is the basis job in an APO DP and PP/DS implementaion?

Hi Christina,

From basis perspective you need to check the following

1) Livecache data is consistent using /n/OM17

2) Autolog backup is configured for Livecache database which is running on MaxDB

3) DB cache is configured as per SAP recommendations .Check relevant SAP note based on MaxDB version
