Hello
If user is creating a new portfolio element in RPM portal that triggers automatic cProject creation, would it be possible to inherit the same authorization role from the portfolio element to cProject? Or is there any other way to control authorizations (without ACO_SUPER) than mapping the roles to every cProjects separately. This far we have used ACO_SUPER authorizations but now we want to restrict the visibility to only some of the portfolios and
buckets.
Thank you.

Satu
You can setup DFM synchronization from item to cProject if you are creating cProject from item.

Hello,
Thank you for you reply.
This DFM synchronization seems to work well if we add the role in the portfolio item level (the role is copied to the corresponding cProject item). However, if we add the role in the portfolio level and it is inherited to portfolio item, it seems that the corresponding cProject item does not inherit the role. Is there some way to inherit the role from portfolio level to cProject via bucket and portfolio item?

Hi Satu,
We also faced this problem. Inherited authorizations are not synched. We are using cPro template. At template level we have given read access to required roles. This is inherited to cProjects. All users cannot access the template directly as they don't see the Admin tab.

Hi Satu,
In general you should avoid as much as possible ACO_SUPER for end users. As mentioned by Anuradha DFM auth sync is the way to go. In fact I believe the standard delivered config should already have this mapping in place.
