Hi All,
I am using EHP1 for NW 7.3 and SAP MII 14.0 deployed on that.
Recently I have configured SSO with ADS.
Before configuring that all my MII application components working fine. But When I configured LDAP, the /XMII/Menu.jsp page throws an exception error as attached.
Also when I tried to open /XMII/Workbench.jsp" it throws the "Cannot process an HTTP request to servlet [jsp] in [XMII] web application" error in the NW log.
I am not sure what is the issue is. When i tried to disable LDAP configuration, all the screens are working fine. I am not able to figure out what is the issue is. Since after configuring even my UME user cant access the page.
Please let me know how to proceed with?. All my MII patches are up to date.

Hi Kiran,
I don't know where your getting the error. I got this error while configuring Sso . This been solved upgrading to sp7.
some times this occurs when we are accessing the page which don't have access to the user.
so assign the required role. Also try to reinstall the mii again.

Hi Prakash
From the logs it seems like somehow the MII Classes are not loaded.
Can you check if the MII app is started?
For this go to NWA on your server and then select Menu options "Operations -> Systems -> Start & Stop -> Java EE Applications"
Search for xmii.
Check all the apps mentioned in the list are started especially the one named xapps~xmii~ear.
If these are not started then start them manually. If one of them fails to start please send the logs.
Minimum requirement for EHP1 is SP4. Ensure you have this version however the issue does not seem to be related to that.
Please also mention if you are using ME co-located with MII on this server?
Best regards
Partha
Hi Partha,
Thanks for the reply.
I found only "Java Application" not "Java EE Application"
I have seen all the "xapp" service started. Also started all the service in the list and checked.Even though its the same error.
I am using the SP01. Is that the issue will be because of the SP. Is that I can go for latest SP11 for MII 14.0 SP4?
The problem is the MII works fine. But when I connect to LDAP, Its showing the error only on the MII pages but NW screen works fine.
No Only MII is used not ME.
Can I know any other solution?

Hi partha
I am on Mii SP4 patch 3.latest release was patch 4. I can deploy that.
But MIIAdmin.sca only creates webdynpro things.I can't update that since I am already in the latest patch.
also is that solve my problem?
is that I can go for SP11 which is the latest for Ehp1 nw 7.3?

Hi Prakash
You do not need to update the MII Admin SCA. You only need to update the XMII SCA. Also if you use NW Dev Studio you can even update the components to the same version.
I am not sure if this will solve the issue or not but it may as there was some similar issue I had seen earlier.
Regards
Partha
