hi ,
What is the need of User Own Condition type in SD-Pricing as we already have condition type Price,Discount.
Thanks
Ganesh
Hi Ganesh,
Adding to what kishore has mentioned - in most cases pricing conditions might vary due to several factors like location specific requirement/specific organizational requirements etc
hence generally we go in for user conditions. they are convenient for customizing our requirements
you might want to have a look at thsi link

Hi,
The need for new condition types, order types or for that matter any customizations done are a result of business requirements. For example we might just want a condition to have a different routine than what normally used in the standard pricing procedure. So we do not wnat to change the standard one, but just copy it with a " Z " name and do the required modifications.
This " Required " is something which comes out of business that needs to be done in SAP, so we create new condition types.
Hope it helps. Please reward if it helps.
Thanks & Regards
Sadhu Kishore
